Wednesday nights will be our Student Connect nights. On these nights, Middle and High School Students will gather in the Hope Church Office Building, have a time of hanging out and fellowship, and have a time of Jesus-centered teaching led by Logan Harvey. After our teaching time, students will split up into small groups based on age and gender to discuss the things we talked about in our teaching time.

This semester we will be diving into our new series: Jesus In the Old Testament! This series is a way to incorporate biblical reading strategies we talked about last semester. The Bible is one coherent story that points to the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Each week we will choose one story to read in its entirety. After reading through the story, we will unpack where Jesus is in that story. Then after exploring how we see Jesus in each story, we will discuss three points: 1. Why did this matter then? 2. How did Jesus fulfill or expand this? And 3. How is Jesus fulfilling this in us now? Our goal for this series is to help students read their Bibles more critically, understand how it is one cohesive story of God’s redemption, and to guide each and every student to a deeper relationship with Christ so that they are life long followers of Him that choose to seek first the Kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33).
