In the Student Ministry, our vision is the vision of the Hope Community Church: the H.O.P.E ->. The "HOPE arrow" is a model of kingdom living. It stands for:
“H” - Have spiritual conversations
“O” - Open up the Scriptures and learn about Christ, specifically in the Gospels
“P” - Pray and listen to the leading of the Holy Spirit
“E” - Eat with people two times a week
“Arrow” - Go wherever you are as a sent person who blesses and serves people
We desire for our students to fashion their lives around this model for Kingdom Living. This model is based on the One who lived this model more perfectly than anyone: Jesus Christ. He is our example, our master, and our power to live out this model.
In order to see this vision come to life, our students meet together on a weekly basis for our Wednesday Night Services and Sunday Night Bible Studies. Our Wednesday Night Student Services consist of worship, Jesus-centered teaching, small groups which are typically broken down by age and gender and are led by our incredible student team, and community building games and activities. Our Sunday Night Bible Studies consist of sharing a meal together and opening up the Scriptures to learn how to better fashion our lives around a model for Kingdom Living.
